Dubbed "the hottest real estate market on the planet" by CNBC and "the most biologically intense place on earth" by National Geographic, Costa Rica has become Latin America's most popular destination. A longtime haven for American retirees, Costa Rica is home to an estimated 50,000 American residents who enjoy a temperate climate, low cost of living, stable government, first-rate medical services, and English-speaking population, and direct flights to major U.S. cities.

One of the newest opportunities to reside in this tropical paradise is Pacifico, a 175-acre master-planned community underway by U.S. real estate developer, The Jack Parker Corporation. Pacifico is located in the Guanacaste province along Costa Rica's Northwest Pacific coast and combines the country's primeval beauty with the amenities of a luxury resort and the modern conveniences of home. Sales began in January 2007 and to date, 165 residences and homesites have been sold to buyers around the world.

The 468 residences within the 24-hour, guarded & gated community of Pacifico - a combination of condominiums, town homes and single-family homes; and 155 homesites - combine Mediterranean architecture and coastal design elements that are being built to U.S. standards with Kraftmaid cabinetry, Kohler fixtures, Whirlpool appliances, and are pre-wired for phone, cable, and internet access. Floor plans for the residences are offered with one, two, three, or four bedrooms and prices start from the $180s - $700s. Homesites most with Pacific Ocean views, range from the mid-$100s-upper $500s.

Inclusive of home ownership is membership to the Pacifico Beach Club, a members-only club located on the beach, which features resort pools with sun deck, cabanas, water sports activities, and a restaurant & bar. Additional amenities will include resort pools, toddler pool, splash fountain, children's play area, and waterfall pavilion. Ownership at Pacifico will also include membership to the private Members Club and the Health Club & Spa with tennis facilities, scheduled to open early 2009.

The Retail Village Center is located at Pacifico's entrance and houses Costa Rica's only Robb & Stucky Interiors, a US-based furniture retailer and interior design firm. Other retailers include Café Nasau; Congo Arts; ArtFlower; Swiss Travel and Adobe Rent-A-Car; a clothing boutique; and the Pacifico Rentals & Management Office. Scheduled to open summer 2009 within the Village Center is a 20,000 square foot Auto Mercado Center, Costa Rica's premier grocery store, which will also house a dry cleaner, video store, optical shop, banking/ATM center, pharmacy, and eateries.

Recognizing the importance of protecting and preserving Costa Rica's environment, approximately 29 percent of the 175 acres at Pacifico is ecological green space and will never be developed, ensuring the area remains a sanctuary for the native wildlife, vegetation and resident enjoyment.

Pacifico is located just 20 minutes from the international airport in Liberia. For more information about Pacifico, call 877-444-1222 or from the US (011) 506-2670-2212 or visit us at www.pacifico-costarica.com
