Opening to almost unheard of success the first phase is already sold out the
Residence Club at Tucker’s Point is Bermuda’s first fractional ownership club.
Situated on a lush, 200-acre residential resort property, it offers owners a
one-tenth deeded fractional interest in a luxurious two, three or
four bedroom villa, which assures flexible and generous access throughout the
year.
With typical Bermudian elegance, the residences have expansive verandas
with grand views overlooking Castle Harbour, Harrington Sound and the Atlantic
Ocean. Wide-planked hardwood floors, massive windows, wood- mantled double
fireplaces and ornate molding are just some of the details surrounding the
selection of British Colonial furniture. Unique touches such as the local
artwork used to personalize the high-ceilinged rooms help give the club a
distinctive flair. Ranging from 1,865 to 2,503 square feet, the homes have
full kitchens, a living and dining area, ensuite baths and a laundry
room.Beyond its gracious surroundings, the Residence Club “makes our owners
feel completely at home,” says general manager Alan Paris. “With an array of
benefits and our attentive staff, there are none of the hassles and
responsibilities that go with second-home ownership.” For convenience, equal-ownership houses can be used at any time. In addition, residents can
obtain a Bermuda driver’s license.
Included in the prices, which begin at
$380,000, are all the privileges that attend full membership in the Tucker’s
Point Golf, Beach and Tennis Club, comprising an 18-hole, par-70 championship
golf course with a new 20,000 square-foot clubhouse, clay tennis courts and a
beach club with an oceanfront infinity pool, among other highlights. The
restaurant, headed by award-winning chef Serge Bottelli, serves
sophisticated interpretations of Bermuda’s cuisine, and is counted among the
island’s finest.
The Residence Club “only enhances the superlative amenities
we already have: championship golf and tennis, and a beach club with access to
one of the island’s few private beaches,” adds Ed Trippe, president of
Tucker’s Point Club. “More than luxurious residences, we offer entrée into our
truly world-class resort and residential community. We could not be more proud
of the retreat we’ve created here.”
Opening within the next two years will be
a second residence club—the 14-villa Harbour Court and a hotel and a
spa, both of which will be accessible to Residence Club owners.
